Joaquin Galarza, LMT, RYT, took his first Thai massage workshop in 2010 to understand how to better assist in his yoga classes. He fell in love with the style’s dynamism, fluidity, and ability to calm the nervous system, stretch tight bodies, and relieve pain. In 2011, he traveled around Thailand studying traditional Thai massage, and discovered a style that combines Thai with French Osteopathic techniques such as positional release, harmonics and various muscle-energy techniques. Since then Joaquin has continued to refine his style of Thai massage and studied additional modalities such as Acupressure, Myoskeletal Alignment, Tuina, Tok Sen, Gua-Sha, Cupping and Reiki. He is currently on track to graduate with a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2027. Joaquin has a passion for working with all body types and conducts his massages as general (relaxation, stress relief, calm the nervous system) or specific (pain, tight muscles, personal preferences), according to your desires and your body’s needs. No two massages are ever the same.
